  • Vertigo by U2 – Disapproved – The votes were split with most being “No”.  Some thought the lyrics had suggestive content, and others felt uncomfortable with the lyric "Girls with crimson nails has Jesus around her neck"
  • Viva La Vida by Coldplay – Approved – unanimous
  • More Than Words by Extreme – Disapproved -  This was a tough decision.  The votes were split evenly and the “No” votes felt very strongly that showing love with “more than words” is an allusion to sex.  (FYI, this had also been disapproved by a previous music committee)
